This week we are demonstrating how to perform a Handfasting Ritual Ceremony.
The handfasting is a tradition which involves the tying or binding of the right hands of the bride and groom with a ribbon or similar for the duration of the wedding ceremony.
It has many origins and has been used in dozens of different cultures all with a similar significance, but with different wording and where the binding is done at different times during the ceremony.
